Papertunity School Workshops

Papertunity’s School Workshops offer a fun and educational experience where students learn about sustainability and creativity by transforming recycled paper into unique art pieces.
Duration: 60-90 minutes
Available for: KS1 & KS2 students (ages 5-11)
Group Size: Up to 30 students per session
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Introduction to Sustainability & Recycling – A short interactive talk about the importance of recycling and how paper waste can be repurposed into art.
Hands-On Workshop – Students use recycled paper pulp and molds to create their own sculptures, ornaments, or textured artwork.
Creative Expression – Each child personalises their piece using natural dyes, paints, and eco-friendly decorations.
Eco-Lesson Integration – Links to curriculum topics such as science (materials & the environment), art & design, and sustainability.
All Materials Provided – Recycled paper, molds, tools, paints, and protective aprons.
Take-Home Creations – Students get to keep their artwork as a reminder of the sustainability message.
Papertunity After School Clubs

Papertunity’s After-School Clubs offers a fun and hands-on creative experience where students explore the art of recycled papermaking while learning about sustainability. Each session encourages creativity, teamwork, and eco-awareness in a relaxed and engaging environment.
Duration: 1 hour per session (weekly)
Available for: KS1 & KS2 students (ages 5-11)
Group Size: Up to 15 students per session
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Hands-On Papermaking & Crafting – Students will create textured paper art, sculptures, greeting cards, bookmarks, or decorative bowls using recycled materials.
Sustainability Education – Fun and interactive discussions on recycling, waste reduction, and how small actions make a big impact.
Creative Freedom – Each session has a theme (e.g., nature, animals, abstract art), allowing students to experiment with colors, textures, and designs.
All Materials Provided – Recycled paper, molds, tools, paints, and decorations.

Papertunity Weekend Workshops
Papertunity’s Weekend Workshops provide a relaxing and engaging experience for senior citizens and community groups, encouraging creativity, social interaction, and sustainability through recycled paper art.
Duration: 90 minutes - 2 hours
Available for: Senior citizen groups, library events, churches, museums, pop-up events, festivals, fairs and other social groups.
Group Size: Up to 20 students per session
WHAT'S INCLUDED:
Introduction to Papermaking & Sustainability – A short talk on the history of paper, the environmental impact of waste, and how recycling can be turned into art.
Hands-On Workshop – Participants learn how to transform recycled paper into textured art, greeting cards, decorative bowls, or sculptures.
Creative & Therapeutic Benefits – A mindful and soothing activity, perfect for relaxation, dexterity, and creative self-expression.
All Materials Provided – Recycled paper pulp, molds, tools, paints, and embellishments.
Guided Step-by-Step Instruction – No prior experience needed! Each session is fully guided and adapted to participants’ abilities.

Available for: Ages 5+
Group Size: Up to 15 children (extra children can be added for a small fee)
